A rare Vera Marghab design...the best of Madeira....the perfection Vera was known for can be seen in every aspect of this piece from the color scheme and floss to the execution of the embroidery. An exotic Calla Lily is embroidered on fine cambric cotton and the piece is finished with a double row of straight buttonhole stitching, reputed to be the most difficult to perfectly execute. Warm taupe, yellow and gray embroidery. Offered freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition, as described and priced accordingly. c.1940's - 50's 13.75" X 21"
